so i'm voting..

Another DA here.

No one
But observing the outcome of the votes...

I just wish for a postive reality, My advice is, vote from your hearts, imagine a better future select your vote based on the stasis of the country and all people, with qualified people in mind in the political positions.. Those who will get things done according to what they say and are practical as possible, in otherwords those who lean more to the geniocracy idea ... and ethnic group identification is rendered obsolete in all south african citizens in the not to near future.

I have my predictions, but they are obvious already at two paths.

HUH??? With your heart ne?!

You sound like that women said: I'mm voting ANC because maybe they will give me too....

Or if i Vote ANC they will feel the need to do better??

DA

still annoyed at her ad though

The DA campaign is annoying to me too but I understand that it's not targeted at me. I would have preferred for them to be saying things like "We will take money that is being sqaundered and put it into schools and hospitals".

Thanks for voting, though. It's important for people to make their mark.

Not sure who to vote for anymore. Zille is starting to annoy me with her obssesion with Zuma, COPE is starting to piss me off because of their leadership issues, ANC are becoming too arrogant with the power they have, and are therefore abusing it, ID is a party I'm starting to warm up to, but it's too small for me to consider seriously. I might even vote ANC because I got a bursary from one of their bursary and scholarship initiatives, otherwise if I didn't get that bursary, I would be somewhere in the townships smoking weed all day with a gun on my pocket.

I decided not to vote on Wednesday. I heard that if not enough people vote on Wednesday, voting will be extended to Thursday which will then also be a public holiday.

I urge all of you to do the same. ;)

Well you have a very good reason to vote for the ANC :D

I heard that the Thursday vote would only be allowed for ANC supporters :D

the question is, did he finish his studies? If yes, then he can show them his middle finger. :)

I finished my studies, now i work and pay tax like everyone else, so i can show them my finger if i want:D I'll always be greatful to the anc, they have built tarred roads where i am originally from, they have put up street lights and built a lot of houses for people who were living in an informal settlement nearby, so the anc for me has done a lot. Most of my poor family members are benefiting from the social grants, but at the same time i worry that social grants are not sustainable.

Well sly i think it's time we gave someone else a chance too. I See your point, but i think we should hand it over to people with good intentions like the ANC had. What are the ANC scared of? If the DA stuff up we'll just vote them out in 5 years. Things will go worse with the ANC so why not give someone else a chance. Imagine then the ANC has new people to blame in 5 years time. Then maybe the world will listen again. Now they just ignore us the apatheid band wagon does not work anymore.

I think any government would have these kinds of grants, you can't really think of it as a personal gift from the ANC. Perhaps under a different government more people could get bursaries, eg. with less corruption or stronger policies. I just don't think you should base your vote on one bursary that happen to come your way. (His second post makes more sense ofc)

The DA does far more than shout about Zuma. I have their main RSS feed in my Reader, and while Zuma is on the agenda, they often send out updates on their vision on crime, foreign affairs, current affairs, etc. Quite an active opposition party. I hope the election keeps them there (if it doesn't move them into No 1 spot. One can dream...).
