Yeah, I agree.. Wow.. And what a goal it was!! 
I've seen him play a couple of games in the Reserves and he impressed me there.
Tbh, I was really worried when i saw the team line up for today, but it just shows what talent we have for the future!

Well, I had to come to 'this' forum and say that Tevez is absolute crap, and it will be a major blow for Man United if he signed a contract, as there are others out there who can do a far better job and will cost much less.
Macheda is HOT property, if he gets more games, he can teach Tevez and Berbatov a thing or two.

All of a sudden, the Italian team is looking better than ever. Since the new year, Santon and Macheda have exploded onto the scene. Add Balotelli, Cassano and a few others of note and you have what could be a team that has the potential to dominate like none before it...
But in short... yeah, legend.

Why, didn't Liverpool win.
I've never seen this player before, neither have I heard any United fan or the media talking about him. Looks like a good find. Took his goal brilliantly. Might be a once off but let's see how he plays in the future.
The kid undoubtedly has talent but it is extremely difficult to take that step up, especially at a club like Manchester United. Ask Giuseppe Rossi.
He definitely has impressed in the reserves though. Hopefully he can take that last step with the right guidance.

agree with you on that , I can tell you this ive seen him play a couple of reserve games and he wont make it big at manure ,he wastes alot of chances ,couldnt do anything in the F.A youth cup when he came up against the best under 18 talent in the country

He isn't a find, he is a kid that was poached from the lazio youth system. In Italy the law prevents clubs from offering under 18's professional deals. So united came in and offer him a big pro deal while lazio weren't allowed because of the different laws in the two countries.
He was highly rated in Italy. Hopefully the same doesn't happen like what arsenal did with lupoli.

How did Lupoli start? With an amazing goal in his debut? Macheda needed tiume to get into thegroove, but I was suitably impressed as more time went on. The fact that he was put on ahead of Danny Wellbeck speaks volumnes for me. Wellbeck has actually had a few games this season and is a little older...

Macheda was born in Rome, AF signed him in 2007 from Lazio's Youth Academy but the deal only went thru in 2008 as he was too young to sign (2007 - he was 15)
He's been playing under Ole's U18 Reserves this season and last week wednesday he scored 3 goals against Newcastle
I think problem with Giuseppe Rossi was his height. He also had to contend with Rooney, Tevez, Giggs, Ronaldo for the striker's role in 2006/22007 season... Rooney and Tevez was on fire hence why Rossie never made it into the first team and so he left for Villareal...

The guy played a couple of minutes and scored 1 goal, you people acting like he scored a hatrick against liverpool.Great goal but sadly I think we only will be seeing him in carling cup matches for a few years.
