So many questions about this cake fail

edit : seems like the amateur ran out of black coloring.

Black is insanely hard to do and most of the time you end up with either very dark red or very dark blue.
Notice also that the bad cake was in natural light (it would have been just as kark indoors too tho, just the colouring would not be as bad). I'm sure if the good cake was also outside it would have a slight blue tinge to it.

The person who baked that cake was clueless. Even I could have done a better job at the frosting.

It's sad it happened to her on her wedding but other than that it is beyond hilarious.
