Last night I raided with 370ms average, but did spike a bit now and then and got disconnected twice.

Got hit for 4k last night. i'm hoping this would be sorted soon. Becoming a normal thing with iburst now while my bro is happily raiding on his adsl line.
 
i have learned just to accept not to game at all in this country.... nothing we can do about it

oh btw... did everyone know AION online needed a 4mbps stable con minimum
( we cant play it but imagine how exp it would be at 200 bux a gig)

local.. :P not international.. COD 4-5 uses about 45 meg per hour

WOw = 20 meg MAX thats if u doing 25 man raids
 
WoW does require a lot more BW. Having packet loss issues with upstream providers is the reall killer for WoW as it tends to raise your latency during 25-mans alot when there is loads of data comming to and from the server and may lead to disconnects.

Last night was alot better :). Though I did have a few spiks and disconnects, I am sure MTNBusiness is on top of it. I mailed you another set of tracert to you Shaun for them :).

So, a new month has started, cap has been lifted. Looked ahead to raiding for a chance. Yeah right.
Just hovering around in Trisfal, gets me 900ms.
Entering Undercity, gets me 1200 ms ~ 1900 ms
Just being part of a party, gets me 2000ms ~ 2500ms

Tried to do a VoA25m just now.. 3 seconds is what I lasted before having the login screen in my face for the next couple of minutes till the mob/boss is down.

I have sent Shaun a request for static ip during the week and seems like I have one.

Is there anyone else that is experiencing this tonight?
I am growing ever more tired of latency issues with iBurst.

Been playing most of the closed beta's on my iBurst Conn without any issues.
+ Why cant we play it?
 
yep , i couldnt do anything last night . Even questing was a drag with looting taking ages.

closed beta doesnt have the 400 vs 400 pvps do they i know cause i play it too.. :P

just saying on their forums they said something about broadband requirements

yeh i had a bit of lag last night but wasnt that bad
 
My lag was very bad (as posted above) till around 11pm/12pm. There after I dared to run an OS25m before restarts because I saw my latency was down to 500~.
Now this makes me think is there is enough capacity on my tower to handle the amount of people online early in the evenings?
