So Much for Ever Raiding Again...

Well that is my experience up to now.
Shaun did say that it might be my signal quality and not the quantity.
So i am gonna wait on his response and if anything changes ill be the first to admit that i was wrong and you can raid on Iburst , thus far my experience points to No you cannot raid on iburst.

well i was able to raid up until about end of january this year. So the problem isnt my side.

Also could you post here how to check your signal quality once you get told how!

Getting into a guild like that, and then hoping your *wireless* isp from Africa holds, tsk tsk. You should have known better tbh. I also did the iBurst thing for raids, and decided to just can it for ADSL due to instability.

Btw if you got high latency during boss fights in last 3 days, this is a blizzard server code mess up and its all over WoW forums.

anyone know if a 384 line will hold up in 25mans ? speed isnt really an issue with me atm

Btw if you got lag during boss fights in last 3 days, this is a blizzard server code mess up and its all over WoW forums .

well. i can tell u one thing.. when iburst had their system "BREAK" which gave us normal speed while throttled.. then i could raid... but as soon as the fixed it.. well.. haha i lag in arena.. thats hardly data..

Yes i could raid 25 mans till about January /february and then everything went pear-shaped. From then onwards i could only do 10 man raiding and even that is failing now with constant disconnects or lag issues.
Shaun sent me a document to test and improve signal quality . Maybe just pop him a mail and ask him for the same document.
However added onto this , i am not happy at trhe moment so until proven otherwise my statement stays: " Iburst cannot cope with raiding demands on your connection."
Consider Aion battles will have 400 players skirmishes, if iburst cant cope with 25 man PVE raids ... there is no chance that it will cope with 400 Player PVP battles.

bahaha our countries best isp cant handle aion... south african gaming is a dying breed due to our **** isp's

Weird - I play COD4 and have been for the past two years on iBurst via the Igame servers and I must admit overall my experience has been fairly consistent with a few times when iburst was not performing as it should.

Reading the convo's though it sounds like WOW requires a lot more BW.

iGame is locally based so you're connecting to a local hub which then pushes you across so it's a more effective routing system. No **** it works, go back to your shed, tool.

WoW doesn't use extensive bandwidth it just requires a stable connection between the client and the server which the ever incompetent iBurst is incapable of doing.

Also whoever said I should have gotten more stable net, you are 100% correct.

Playing wow on Iburst is fine, but the moment someone asks you to go raid with them you have to try and explain that your "Throttled" and you can't do 25 man raids.... Then you get invited to a 10 man raid.... <sigh> can't even do that properly anymore... While trying to do these I get constant disconnects. Iburst really needs to increase the "throttled" speeds by 2-3 times in order for gamers to be able to take advantage of their throtteling service.

iBurst needs to throw it's keyboard out the window

Has anyone been getting a half decent latency lately? Trying to quest on a alt i'm sitting at 1.6k. ffs so much for the static IP.

Seems like there is packet loss through MTNBusiness\Verizon and Blizzard ISP Telia.

In very crowded places I getting bad latency due to the packet loss.
