What is the point of this now? I mean for **** sake, are not allowed to post about stuff that we want to talk about like specs, power consumption, how long the thing will last before the hardware is outdated? I mean if someone is just going to be nasty about then why not just **** off let the rest of us have our fun?

Steam Machine is cute as hell. I don't really use TV for gaming so don't really need one but would be tempted to get one (depending on price point and logistics) for the bespoke SteamOS experience for their hardware. I've been using my Steamdeck almost exclusively for gaming since I got in 2022 so I'm not sure how much more use I'd get out of the steam machine vs. my current desktop PC.

I really want the Steam Frame though, just so I can experience Half-Life Alyx as it is intended. I know I could just get a quest but don't really want to give meta even more of my data... I have not used any VR hardware before so it would be a big investment for what would likely be limited usage.
