Only heard of it now, but I'm very sceptical, the system requirements look very low and the website gives me a few bad gut feelings due to typos.

In order to accurately emulate games you need crazy powerful gear - many many times what the original had in power. e.g.

Combine that with the arcane methods used by the ps3 and you'll def not see an emulator.

xbox360 seems marginally more plausible, but still no. PC hardware doesn't have the built in upscaling that the PS3/xbox has so its not happening any time soon. In a couple years maybe.

* Assuming you don't get magical access to the dev kits...those do actually run on mostly PC gear.

Not impossible to see a ps3 emulator in the coming years. Emulators are riddled with bugs from alpha all the way through their development though.

There'd likely only be a hand full of games that could be emulated initially. The time and effort might not weigh up against the cost of a ps3. Which will probably decline steadily thanks to next/nowgen.

PS3 would require you to emulate a 7 core cpu. All I know is that the ps2 emulators suck and that's a lot more primitive than the 7 core monster the ps3 has. That being said I know jack squat about emulation other than you need to create a program that can catch and translate calls that would be sent to specific hardware so that other hardware can interpret those calls. I also know that emulators use many times more resources than what they are actually emulating.
