Before the previous patch I switched completely to PVP as raiding become a bit redundant with new gear questable soon after the patch.

What are your plans for before the patch? Yes there is probably several months left before its release, and raid epics will surely help leveling faster to 80...

For now I am leveling some more of my chars to 70, and starting to save up some gold for the new profession and all the new recipies.

Currently going to lvl to 70 as quick as possible, Then farm gold as much I can, then PvP till I have enough tokens for the different BG's.

So when the new patch comes, I'll have enough Gold for what ever is new, I'll have enough tokens to twink my chars and then lvl to 80 with ease :D

Same here, my lvl 70 is only being used to help guildies get attuned for kara, the rest of the time I'm getting my lvl 42 priest and lvl 16 lock level as fast as possible.

Yea the fact that a new expansion that is looming kinda makes grinding for rep stupid! So getting more chars to 70 and farming gold or having fun in Batle grounds is imho the only thing to do.
BTW have 100 of each token on my hunter already for pvp, just using them to buy potions atm, really bad that you cant sell the mounts anymore :(

Yep, I agree with everyone here. Doing dungeons and rep grinds feels useless. I'm leveling 4 alts. Its kinda fun juggling them.

The announcement kinda screwed me over considering that I started playing when TBC came out. Havent even been able to experience the old world content, and now noone on my server wants to run the TBC raids.

Well this is stupid to be honest. When TBC was announced I could understand why everyone stopped raiding, it was the 1st time an expac was coming and original wow was already going for 2 years so most people could have done most in the original game already and they also made getting rank14 gear easier.

Now though, the next expac is probably still 6 months away and people want to stop? Who are you kidding. You don't raid for epics, you raid because its fun to raid.

Personally my main char can't get much better gear it has. But I still raid cuz its fun.

I'll probably not buy the next expansion and stop playing the game when its out though.

IMHO I would say grinding pvp for some nice damage gear will be the best way to go.

I'm a shammy, enhancement spec.

Doing PvP to get decent enh gear so I can get into arenas. Once I can stand my own there, I'm gonna start building up the resto set so I can become a main healer one day! :)
