14.00 time for extended lunch (apply polyfiller to face)
18.00 clock out and go home

Velly velly interesting. A thought just struck me, i suppose it was blatantly obvious to everyone else but sometimes you just have to blurt this kinda thing out. Dr Ivy Matsepe-Casaburri our much loved Minister of Communications has a doctorate in... you guessed it Communications! Oh no, wait she doesnt. How does having a PhD in Sociology (!!!), http://www.sahistory.org.za/pages/people/matsepe-casaburri-i.htm , qualify someone to be Minister of Communications?

Your right MaD - trouble is, people need someone to vent thier frustrations against and Ivy would be a key player in that.

She's more than likely a wonderful person to know, however, I think it should be noted that her best talents are not in the telecomms arena - in fact, I'd go so far as to say she is really not suited for her current position as minister.

There seems to be a complete lack of understanding of the issues at hand.

Having said that, one only needs to read Zapiro each day to understand that if your in the public spotlight, you have to be prepared to run the gamut of derision if your not performing well !
