I was perusing the jobs here for interest' sake, and came across this one:

http://jobs.mybroadband.co.za/info_jobid_2448.html

Title: .Net Developer
Description: One of the leading media companies in the country is looking for a PHP Developer who will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for designing, building, testing and deploying PHP applications...

Hold on a minute. Which is it to be? :D

I don't think they are going to reach their target audience...

My favorite when looking through .NET job listing is when they ask for more experience than the framework has been out. :wtf:

Not so relevant these days, but a couple of years ago you'd see 5-7year commercial c# experience, which would limit the target market to the guys at Microsoft who build the language

:D I tried to find more details for requirements, but it simply states "relevant fields".

I've seen some scary stuff on job ads - it shows a distinct lack of knowledge on the agency's side (yes, it's usually from an agency, go figure) - and they don't get my vote. If the advert is not professional, it reflects as much on the company's side too. Take note, advertisers.

Yeah, I picked it up on their RSS feed - but I haven't worried myself too much about it. Not too many jobs based this side of the atlantic (and equator)... ;)
