Please say if you are in JHB, PTA or DBN and what tower you connect to.

Thanks

Provided I connect to the specific 2.506GHz frequency of my tower which is 36 in Sunnyside, Pretoria then I have no major hassles. I connect from Hatfield.

2.518GHz gives the normal half-dialup problems.

I don't seem to have any problems with speed or with disconnects. 128K package, PTA, La Montagne tower (22). (Haven't explicitly measured BW throughput during the past few days though, but I did about a week ago, and was getting max throughput at night and close to max throughput during the day. Will try do a few speed tests later. I did notice I have quite a lot (almost continuous!) incoming traffic from I believe Sasser infected PCs out there.

Connected to tower 36 (Mal Park) in Durban.

getting max 4kbs downstream on a 256kbs package.
upstream seemingly uneffected.

My upstream is also fine, but downloading is a nightmare. Webpages take ages and sometimes time out. Tower: Helderkruin, JHB.

[email protected] - as greedyfly put it :)
