Social Development Minister Zola Skweyiya is reaching the end of his tether.

"The basic issue that I think is the problem is that our morals have taken a dip, especially after 1976. We were a conservative country, but after 1976 the youth took over from their parents and ran the country in a manner where one could not foresee where it would lead to.

"Morals and customs that used to be there and were respected by all peoples of South Africa completely got overturned. The strategy now is to go back to the basics: Who are we, why do we behave in a certain manner that cannot be accepted in ordinary society?" Skweyiya asked.

And there we have our answer. Except no direction comes from the top - Mbeki is always solving (Zim = Not) the worlds problems but paying no attention at home.

Safety and Security Minister Charles Nqakula should be fired for his remarks - but not a word - from the top - as usual.
