Soft Ware program to best import music files with?

I'm wondering is there a free software program downlaodable from the net.
The program must be able to convert songs to mp3 while it imports it and the qaulity must be excellent

You mean a CD Ripping program?

Rather it reads the cd but the music mp3's are written in folders

What does that mean??

Your Car CD player has to support playing MP3. Does it say MP3 on it?

MP3 is a data file... not a raw audio file.

If your Car player does not support MP3, then you have to copy the MP3's back to plain audio format... most CD burning programs can do that... but then you are limited to 18 songs per CD again.

Well, except for measuring a cd by songs, instead of length, that about sums it up

Try the mp3 cd again, but without folders this time.

Also, some players can only do CBR not VBR.

1st off does your car radio read mp3 cd's? 2ndly have you changed the ripping options in iTunes to mp3? It's default format to rip to is AAC.
