Softcap on Telkom 4mb Uncapped ADSL?

Hey guys.
I'm looking to upgrade my ADSL line from a 2mb too a 4mb and i was wondering what the 4MB soft cap would be.
I get soft capped every month on my 2mb line and it is really beginning to irritate me. The soft cap for the 2mb line in my experience is around 110GB. If you know what the 4MB Line soft cap is please let me know, Thanks! I can only afford the Consumer package so upgrading to Telkom business is not a option.

I don't think anyone outside of telkom knows for sure… and they ain't telling.

I think its more about the area and how busy the network there is. Friend of mine on his 2mb gets capped after 60GB

What is your primary data usage? P2P?

I average around 300GB per month. I don't stream much (the odd sporting event) but my wife is a YouTube addict and my kids game online at every opportunity. I schedule all my downloads in the night suffer slot.

With my usage pattern I am yet to hit the orange bar on the usage tracker.

I was told its 100gb soft cap premium has higher soft cap.

Yes. Just be sure that your line can handle the higher speed else you'd be wasting your money.

No truth in any of what you stated. N3xZa is pretty close ...

Note that the fair usage policy will change quite soon, mostly for the better.

You should schedule your P2P for 00h00 to 07h00.
