Softether Endless problems

Hi all,

Hopefully someone can assist me... Its been weeks and months now.....

We have our head office loaded with Softether VPN Server, now I have 3 other branches I want to link to this server.

I am battling endlessy with error codes. Especially error code 1

I can ping my ddns name and public IP but cant access them. When the server and client are connected through LAN I can access them both, anything outside of LAN I can't - meaning from my client connecting to jhb.

I have watched so many youtube videos and gooogled everything I could.

I am out of ideas. I am running Server 2016 as my VPN server and Windows 10 Pro as my clients.

Can someone please assist me. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It sounds as though you want to configure the server as a remote access server so remote PC's can connect using the Soft Ether client rather than setting up site to site vpns between the branches. Is that correct?

Can you pm me some more detail about the config (screenshot of the server config screens maybe?) and I will see if I can spot any problems.

I assume also you have any necessary port forwards configured from your external IP to the vpn server or are using their Azure relay service to traverse your firewall.
