Assima South Africa is currently seeking an experienced Software Corporate Support Consultant to join our global R&D team. Assima is an international global leader in application life cycle support and change management software. Assima holds patented technology over their superior approaches to solving some of the toughest large scale software project challenges in corporate enterprises.
Expect a very technical environment where your knowledge will be put to the test and you will also have the opportunity to learn new skills.
Responsibilities:
As a Software Corporate Support Consultant you will be expected to provide:
• Product support/ Remote support.
• Support Ticket Management.
• Technical troubleshooting/testing.
• Building and maintaining relationships with all Assima Global Consultants as well as provide product specialist guidance.
• Advise during Assima’s software installations.
• Advise on project standards, guidelines and templates, etc.
• Customization of the Assima product suite when required and ensuring standards are implemented.
Essential Education and Experience Requirements:
• National IT Diploma/ Tertiary Degree 3 years/ MCSA(E)/ A+/ N+
• 2+ year IT support experience
• Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7, Windows Server 2003/2008
• IIS and basic SQL Server skills.
• TCP/IP
• Analytical Troubleshooting skills
• Hardware platforms knowledge
• Knowledge of routers and firewalls
• Virtualization knowledge
Advantageous:
• Knowledge of E-Learning Systems (STT, Atlantic Link, Assima Product Suite and/or others)
• Knowledge of E-Learning content development
• CSS and HTML (.net) ASP
• Network administration (In absence of the Network Administrator)
Personal Skills:
• Good written and verbal, fluent English, communication skills
• Good time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Dedicated and hard-working
• Inquisitive, patient and persistent
• Fast leaner
• Self-motivated and results driven
