Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Contract, 12 month full time opportunity with the potential for long term contracting based on performance.
Work location: Primary office location is East London, SA. Home office/remote team members will be considered.

What You Will Be Doing

• Developing data driven web applications using modern frameworks and design methodologies (UI, server side and database).
• Developing responsive and intelligent user interfaces for data entry
• Developing visual output for data analysis (dashboards, reporting)
• Source code management in a team environment

What You Need for this Position

• 3+ years’ experience designing and developing responsive web applications using one or more modern frameworks
• 3+ years’ experience in one or more major RDMBS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Oracle, etc.)
• Ability to interpret and design software according to written user requirements and project plan
• Understanding of modern technology: modern web systems, operating systems, HTML5, XML, REST, SOAP
• Experience with modern open source web application frameworks
• Version control (GIT/SVN/TFS)
• Good communication and time management skills
