- Execute and automate tests to ensure the high quality of our software and to provide fast feedback to the team.
- Work with UX, Developers, Architects and Product Owners using Agile methodologies.
- Take ownership of tests within continuous integration and strive towards continuous deployment.
- Co-ordinate with other QAs, Infrastructure and Support teams to ensure release process are performed in a smooth and safe manner under various reputable compliance standards, such as FedRAMP and ISO27001.
- Assist with reproducing live issues, adding test coverage, and proactively monitor the performance, throughput and diagnose error logs, following a DevOps culture.
- Conduct spikes to research and validate testing/deployment strategies and approaches.
- Proactively communicate, share and influence other teams to advance in technical capabilities.
- Our primary stack for tests is written in Python, and production code is written in C# and SQL.

- Ability to author test plans with an emphasis on risk based testing.
- Experience with web API testing, both manual and through test automations.
- Experience with a querying language such as SQL.
- Good understanding of at least one of Python, C#, Java or C++, plus OO design patterns.

- Good knowledge in Python and C#, e.g. syntax and built-in methods
- Good understanding of TDD and the test pyramids concepts.
- Good understanding of RESTful API.
- Good understanding of test frameworks such as BDD, Selenium.
- Writing PowerShell/ Bash script.
- Docker and Cloud platforms (such as AWS/Azure)
- Testing Microservices/SOA and queue based messaging system
- Deployment tools & techniques.
- Performance and security testing experience.
- Desktop and mobile applications testing experience (virtual machines, codedUI).
- 20% of your time dedicated to innovation, improvement, to work on self-driven projects.
