Software to stop DVD drive spining?

Hi there,
I have googled with no success
I want a program that will allow me to stop my dvd in my dvd drive spinning.
Do you know of any? must be X64 compatible.

There is a little button on your dvd drive. Click it and remove the dvd and then click it again.

This is guaranteed to make your dvd drive stop spinning, unless of course there's a problem with it.

If it really has to be software, nero has a handy little application called, Nero DriveSpeed. This has a speed control function as well as a little Stop button that stops the spinning.
