Software update Lollipop for Android

I have a Samsung S4. When will the new software be available for this phone. MTN said on Facebook in March but its practically the end and still nothing

Weird, my S4 active auto updated the 900MB odd update 2 weeks back. I didnt know it was tied to a carrier.

Apparently it is. I asked the android group on FB. I had a look online as well and my model S4 is not listed. Maybe just too old. Have had it 18 months now

Lolipop is out for the i9505. I'm sure it will come out for the i9500 soon.

Indian. I always download the Indian versions. They seem to just...work

When doing it through kies, will it format the phone or will it just update everything?

Also, which one must be chosen? UK one?

I use Odin. I clear everything that you possibly can on the phone as I like to start fresh.

I chose the Poland ver as MNOs base their release on that.
