I need to update on my S8+ to pie but i recenlty followed this latest android. I heard people sayin it does have some clinches, like phone will have bettery problem after update is there anyone who has been using it. Please help me, im scared to hit download.

I want to update my fone to latest android. Is it good or bad( Android pie).i scared to download it cos I heard some issues about .

Maybe go hit the Internet, every release of every os on every phone from every operating system has had at least some people complain about it. Its the nature of the world we live in.

Just because 1 guys says he has problems does not mean he actually is (perception) or that you will be faced with the same (different device).

So unless what you read were a bunch of people report the exact same issue on the exact same version of the os for the exact same phone as you, then well ****.

Just remember, Samsung ships North of 30 versions of each os release to comply with various regional/service provider and other requirements or restrictions.

So if a guy in America is have issues, does not mean you will, hell even in pissy little SA samsun ships 4 different releases to each of the network providers, realistically they are just different logos but other differences could exist so if your on Vodacom and the next guy is an mtn it is still within the real os possibility they you would not experience the same issues as he is.

So basically, reading the Internet is a waste of time, asking us is slightly less of a waste of time and it's entirely up to you...

Don't upgrade to Pie. Ignore the updates. You will be sorry.
 
I updated my S9+ to Pie about a week ago, phone is running fine and even got another update last night. The new dark system theme helps my eyes and saves battery life especially on the OLED based screens. That being said, I'm not so hot on most of the design choices in Pie and OneUI, I honestly think it's taken a big step backwards from Oreo and Samsung Experience. Too much wasted space, rounded corners and so on.
 
My S8 Plus is still sitting on Android 8.0 security patch level 1 September 2018, I want Android Pie now, if I flash my ROM with firmware from samobile will I loose KNOX?

You can only trip Knox if you try rooting
