Soheil Mehrabanzad

Soheil Mehrabanzad is an assistant vice president and general manager for the Middle East and Africa regions. He has been in the field of telecommunications for 25 years, eighteen of those years with Hughes Network Systems. Mr. Mehrabanzad started his career as a simulation software engineer and later was a software consultant with several U.S. power utilities. Prior to rejoining Hughes Network Systems in 1999, Mr. Mehrabanzad was vice president of Business Development for an UAE-based multinational corporation with close working relationship with Hutch-Telecom of Hong Kong and Orange of the United Kingdom.

Mr. Mehrabanzad resides with his family in Dubai, UAE and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland, USA and a Master of Business Administration from Loyola Marymount College, Virginia, USA.
