Telkom markets ADSL as a solution for the SOHO enterprise.

As indicated in the IT-Web response, there are many applications running on special ports.

Many SOHO's are dependent on such applications for their business.

I can't see how Telkom can market their version of ADSL as a solution to the SOHO environment unless they don't have the foggiest idea of the real need of the market.

Again: I don't have any problems with the cap, as long as I can purchase more bandwidth should I require it. An e-commerce web page will be nice for this.

But then I require proper speeds on all ports and all ports treated equal.

The cap is dissapointing, but the port prioritization just completely suck - I mean it's your 3gig for which you pay R900+ per month. You should be able to do with it what you want. A true third world offer. [V]

How much is R900 worth for you? hmm.. More or less enough for repayments on a fairly decent second hand car. It can probably almost feed a family if you take things economically. Anywayz, I think it's too expensive. Let's face it. R900 per month is a lot of money, but on top of it they dergrade the service to such an extent that it basically stinks.

My 2cents.
