Today had it's moments again, managed to generate 36kWh.

I see the generator ran for just under an hour at lunchtime and then the sun took over.

6 to 9GW supposedly. Including private business. 7.5 is the middle. 6 peak sun hours average. About 45GWh a day.

Yes, the inverters turn it on and off based on the state of charge.

Still busy fine tuning, the logic on the Deye's is terrible, but I have it almost perfect in my opinion.

Would need 2 and alternate if you don't work from home. Can get 2 i3's for the same price as a BYD. You'll have to cook during the day while at work.

Nah. If I got one with 400km range which is standard these days that is 8 days of commuting to work. I do 25km one way. Just needs to last Mon to Fri.

Doesnt have to do anything. Its not a coal power station lol.

Check this. 300km range. I wouldnt piss money down the toilet for a petrol or diesel car. Buy a nice fuel car, 5 seater plus for the holiday trips. Get one of these for work and grocery runs.

Its power you were never going to use even when using the grid. Trying to max out the solar use is artificially manipulating your ROI calculation.
