Good day, can someone please advise or guide me with a solar installation that is not up to standard, NM COC issued, & installer does not want to come fix/rectify any problems. I have cut communication with him now & as last resort popped in here before getting an attorney involved.

Basically pics of the installation and a brief story of what happened and what you are not happy with.

Oh thanks. So last year May got LD technical projects to install a solar system. 2Ă—5kva luxpower inverters, 3Ă—4.8kw Nenergy batteries, 14Ă—550watt Canadian solar panels. From the get go i told him 1 batteries seems faulty. So a month later 1st main fuse burnt, December second time fuse & cable burnt. (Both times he came & only replaced fuse & that wire) Inverters not sharing load on battery but share load on Eskom. 100ah battery FCC shows 62.2ah now. The other 2 shows FCC 100.6ah. Got a 3rd party to do over inspection & oh my word! The installer still does not want to repair, replaced, correct poor workmanship

Looks like the cable is undersized for that to happen.

Only saw that ever happening to battery cable is excessive current being pulled, looks like the fuses also fused to the housing.Where are you situated also?

Hold up, you have the inverters in parallel but separate battery banks  Are the inverters both connected to separate loads on your house or are they sharing the load like how they receive power from Eskom?

if you have inverters in parallel and are sharing the load and the batteries are on separate banks then there is your problem for fuses popping, cable burning.

All 3 batteries go into DC box, from there to inverters. I dont have the drawings nor do i want to open trunking as it could lead to stories of tampering. So the way i understand my system is: inverters do everything, PV to inverter, inverter to battery. Battery to inverter, inverter to AC main DB in house. My entire house runs from this system

Why only 2 fuses if there are 3 batteries?

Can you take wider angle pics so we get a better picture of the setup?

Batteries are in parallel.

Guys i need advice or a contact to a ombudsman! I am not going to loose anymore with all the stuff in SA. Like i said my next step will be a attorney. I need legal advise currently.

Yes basically he ran away but is still trading, he just refuses to come & repair. He says he is the specialist. See attached 3rd party over inspection. And still he says everything is ok & i am his only difficult client. But i know of others also.
I would recommend you sanitize the document your name and surname are on there unless you dont care.

likely need an attorney more than anything else not going to be a cheap route unfortunately...

Yeah i am aware of it. Sad part is we are still paying off on the solar @ the bank...so i have to go again to the bank to pay for the repairs by an reputable company. Although my installer did come with a high recommendation.
