A major hospital in Pretoria (not govt) has a fire, above the operating theatres, purportedly caused by solar panels, and this is not newsworthy?

I would have thought that the MyBB journalists would have been on site to give us a first hand report.

The OP was posted many hours after the event, and a quick search showed several other news sources. It is better not post a BS headline in the News forum when other links are available...

Not exactly out of the realm of possibility. Probably a shoddy install.

The article says solar panels burnt during fire. OP changed it to say solar panels caused fire. From what I can see, no cause has been determined yet...

There were no injuries nor deaths. Property damage wasn't extensive based on lack of pictures on social media. What's the root cause of the fire or fault that led to the fire? There are no details yet. Nothing. I'm not in the mood to blame Sipho the installation technician or Jabulile at procument for the fire so based on that alone, what's there for me to add?

Kudos to the staff and EMS for evacuating patients timeously thus, avoiding disaster, and extinguishing the fire before it spread.
