Solar pool chlorinator Yes/No

I was wondering if anyone has some feedback or advice about the performance of these Sunchlor solar pool chlorinators? Do they really work?

Also, can you combine the use of a salt chlorinator with granular chlorine? I.e. if the chlorinator is struggling to do the job, can you help it out with granular chlorine?

Looks like you do need to be careful with chemical levels, as the anodes can be damaged.

Not possible to comment without knowing exactly which one you are referring to.

Generally no, once you convert to a salt pool, you cannot use granular Chlorine or any other chemicals in the pool anymore.
