Solar silicon prices hit 3-year low

Solar silicon prices in China plunged to a three-year low as overcapacity and fierce competition slash profits across the industry.

Average prices of polysilicon dropped as much as 20% in the past week, according to a statement by the China Silicon Industry Association.

Same story with oil a few years ago, US with shale gas started undercutting the Middle East, they nearly stopped production and caused the oil companies to shut down production to prop up the price. Wonder if the local suppliers will start running some "specials"

The Western Overlords don't give two shiits about Chinese human rights. They want you and I to think that they do whereas they are just trying to drum up opinion against Taiwan's inevitable annexation.

They started last year already. Panels are cheap as chips now
