Solar system for Office.

My computer consumption :300watt/h from the plug. I need to be able to work for 14 hours a day minimum.

Other considerations is my Fibre that consumes 32watt/h hour for the ONT and Router along with 2 router UPS systems.

Total office consumption is 332watt/h.

Solar backup system will be
1X 5.5Kw/h Lithium Battery
1X 5Kw Inverter
4X 540 Watt solar panels.

My math so far is 5500watt/h - 20% (5500 - 1100) = 4400watt/h
Total power consumption is 332watt/h
Total Time 4400 / 332 = 13.2 hours leaving a 20% charge on the battery. (Excluding solar power generation.)

Will this work? What am I missing?
Just remember that the inverter itself consumes 100-150w. However, you should be fine and will even be able to boil the kettle once or twice a day.

More likely 50 to 100w, not 150w that is a highly inefficient inverter
 
Mine was 167, I was generating 930, my house was using 453 and my battery was charging at 360 earlier today. Also Sunsynk.
Sure this isn't taking into account the exporting? But in the past it seems they were using 45w
167w is way way to high for a single inverter.

Probably inverter fan running. It usage changes. But I will monitor.

Yup cause quite a few people indicate 45 to 90w for Sunsky is normal, 167w is way to high, my old Mecer uses about 75w when the fans kick in, but generally sits around 55

Ok this just shows me what the house is drawing, this could be vampire draw from other devices, you could have the fridge running
Nope, this shows the actual consumption of the whole system. This means that the inverter was using 130w and it does not have a fan. This type of consumption by the inverter is completely normal for a Sunsynk.

Your consumption on 330W for 14hrs is 4620wh or 4.6kWh, you have a 5.5kWh battery excluding solar.

So without going any deeper into the details, yes the system will work, with plenty of power to spare.

So there's an issue, cause reports from earlier indicate that it should on average use about 45w. Perhaps there was an update that cause more usage then it should.

Could be an update, on the weekend, I noticed my date and time settings were out of wack, even though sync was enabled. I was exporting to the grid, even though it was not supposed to be enabled. My wife said she does not touch the inverter settings.

I deactivated the export to grid settings.

That export to the grid might be needed to prevent issues with the meter, but I see most people had it set to 20.

It was exporting about 1300w, photo taken this weekend, in case I needed advice here on MyBB:IMG_20240302_125335_194.jpg

I switch everything off and on again and that seemed to work.
 
From what I can see it's only 66 now?
My understanding was the battery was supplying 67wats, the panels supplying 3566w, the house was using 66wats and the export to the grid was 1302w, and the inverter/ups was getting 2039w.

I could not access any information on the app. I could connect to the wifi dongle, but there was no information.

That thing doesn't make sense, battery is supplying 67w but the house is using 66w? What is UPS?
