Solera Networks is a privately held Utah based software company that develops network deep packet capture[1] and stream-to-storage technology that captures and stores all data that crosses any network, even high-speed 10Gb networks. The technology is delivered as dedicated network appliances or as a virtual appliance. It is designed to enable root cause discovery to improve security, support lawful intercept requests, enhance network forensics and analytics, help enforce compliance, and ensure overall network availability and performance.

In 2008, the Principal Inventor of Solera's Technology sued the company in three separate actions. The legal proceedings were subsequently settled out of Court.
