Solidarity defends Eskom salaries

Solidarity secretary-general Gideon Du Plessis said most Eskom workers were earning well below the average annual cost per employee of R1.027 million.

In a recent opinion piece in Rapport, Du Plessis said the average remuneration of the power utility's bargaining unit workers was R457,800 per year, or R38,150 per month.

They are also overpaying their GNU partners Freedom Front and DA voter base so I don't see what the problem is.
