Solution to tailgaters

Hi all

Noticed something interesting lately while i was having my bumper fixed,

Normally even in the middle/leftmost lane, people love tailgating me, it annoys me no end....

Strange thing is, when my bumper removed, leaving this evil looking metal bracing underneath, people suddenly keep huge distance...

Its like my car from carmageddon and has giant spikes sticking out the back......

Anybody else with a small car experience this?

Maybe the more evil you car looks, giant bullbars/towbars or big scary metal bars, the more pscologically people keep distance from you....

Love to know if anybody else experience this......

Kinda...the taxis also take less chances with old cars than brand new BMWs...because they know the BMW driver cares about his/her paintjob.

Tailgaters?

I use my windscreen washers and suddenly they fall back... wonder why?

I mean with my picanto, every bm and fortuner wants to tailgate me off the road,

And when i try to brake gently so they catch some distance, they get even closer....

Not so with the plastic bumper off.....

They catch nice healthy distance, quite interesting why though?

Maybe they think your a bad driver or something when your bumper is off, because you brake hard or something of the sort which caused someone to crash into you.. I dunno, weird

Didnt get one sorry, but trust me big metal bars under that plastic that look so fragile.....

Take one look at it and every crazy taxi wont risk it.....
