Yo everyone

Before i get slandered and bitten into many little pieces i have to say i dont have many other options at the moment, so yes, im enquiring about neoCrap.....

I live in Margaret maytom ave in Virginia/Durban north and i have a feeling im in a decent spot to get decent use out of neotel...

I have crossed off normal telkom ADSL lines off the list due to it being a pain in the ass getting more poles and lines installed to get use of the service, of which a nice phatt telkom line would obstruct my orgasmic view of the sea and the planes etc taking off/landing... not to mention the swimming pool below the property which oozes potential female activity....

Now... anyone know where the neotel towers are in my area? their website is about as useless as Julius Malema.....so no luck there locating them...

also.. second question.... i want to get an uncapped service from neotel... what sort of issues am i looking at having?... please bare in mind my location may favour me......or not... this is where anyones suggestions/help would be appreciated

Word of advice ......
Never ever ever go neotel.
Even if you currently have 100% signal it is not guarenteed to stay that way ......

According to Neotel I was 'one of the first to experience the NeoConnect Prime service, which meant that I had contributed to making history in the South African Telecommunications market' - WOW I thought this is going to be a good relationship.

For the first few months the Honeymoon was great, I bragged to friend how good it was, so much so 2 even changed to Neotel. Well the honeymoon was over when I started with small problems, Neotel and I are now heading for divorce court, but will leave me paying maintenance till the end of my contract!

If you want to know any of the problems I have had send me a message and I will give you a detailed list as all the calls I make to Neotel, now days I make a log of everything that is said.

Thanks for the feedback...

The cellular contracts are just a no-go, im a very active web user and although i dont want to download "the interwebz" i want to be able to upload videos/mixes etc aswell.

Im in a bit of a shyte boat the the moment, but looks like i may even go the whole moving house route. Need to look for a place close to one of telkoms exchange so that i can make maximum use haha, sounds lame but so over poor service we get in this country.

There is one tower @ Northwood school. On there fields they have multiple towers.
There is one also at sunningdale on umhlanga ridge road. close to the spar.

No , you can have perfect signal and still have no service ....

sorry dude, you are going to have issues.
I have perfect signal, their technician came to check, I don't even need an antenna
They have too many users and too small an infrastructure to handle them.
Quite often they go totally down, and if you are one of the first to reconnect, your speeds will be through the roof, and then an hour later you back to wishing you had dial up again because the speeds were better.
You are going to battle with videos, I gave up on neotel and youtube ages ago, and this is on their premium home service neoflex data service.
Anyhow you've read the forums, you have been warned, use the info or don't, that is up to you..
