Hi All

Some advise please.

Someone drive into the back of me yesterday. My car didn't get any damage as the tow bar took all the impact.

I've taken the car to a panel beater and he had a look and said there is no damage anywhere.

Do I still need to report this to the Police and Insurance?

Yes

You will get an OB number ex SAPS.

If no claim - dont bother with insurance.

If under warrantee - inform dealership in writing.

One never knows if these things will come back to haunt you.

There might have been some structural damage to the tow bar housing and cluster.

You need to inform your insurance as well, even if there was no damage.
