Some app is chowing my data like a mofo

Since the 21st of November, I've done just over a gig. Today alone, when I haven't even touched the phone it has already chowed 21MB. How can I find the offending app?

Yeah it shows both.

I forgot I had this installed and just checked it again. It shows 17mb download from eBuddy since yesterday and I was only connected to it today for 4 minutes or so... wtf!

I have the same problem.
The only difference is that there are some apps like RoadSync that starts automatically and downloads crap.
Isn't there a way to restrict network access to individual apps?

DroidWall. You need to be rooted though.

17MB from Ebuddy in one day? There's a serious problem there! Which IM services do you use? I have mine running 24/7 logged into Windows Live and it uses very little data.

flashing a new rom seems to have done the trick. yeah it is weird though.
