Some Eskom Assistance

good day guys , can anyone point me in the right direction got a new meter installed great now the problem is getting it registered so i can use my fnb to buy power >.>

the useless bloke @ my nearest office is never there and phoning them gets you no were fast as well.

can't register it online since they still using pigeons.

what route can i follow to hopefully get this resolved

When you get a new meter
The meter number takes some time to propagate to all outlets

Kinda like DNS just a lot slower

So for the first while after getting a new meter i could only buy power at certain stores that have systems directly linked/supplied by the municipality

And then month or two later i could find more and more places to buy as they updated and have the new meter numbers in their database

Edit: it has been years , so memory may be shoddy on how long it took

Just crap being totally dependant on state

Until the meter is registered on the system , whatching that meter count down must be terible and what can you do
