Some Good Dinner Ideas For this Week

Mac and just finished our planning...

Monday: Fish and chips with beetroot salad
Tuesday: Beef curry and rice
Wednesday: Soup (thick vegetable)
Thursday: Spaghetti bolognaise
Friday: Bobotie on rice with a leafy salad
Saturday: Hot dogs
Sunday: Pork roast, gem squash, peas, carrots


So I'll be cooking on Tues, Wed, Thurs and Sat. :p

Sunday: Weber Chicken Roast, potatoes, peas, carrots in drip tray, pumpkin pie for dessert
Monday: Chicken Pie from left overs from sunday + veg
Tuesday: Steak, egg and veg
Wednesday: Soup + croutons
Thursday: Homemade pizza, meat, bacon, 2x cheeses, home made base (flour, salt, oil and water)
Friday: Pancakes, Tuna, onion and tomato
Saturday: braai
 
Tonight is take outs… and that's about as far ahead as I've planned.

You should be adding some vegetables to what you eat, meat, potatoes, rice, pasta isn't that varied a diet.

I always have veggies in, usually mixed it's the same always so didn't really thought to include it here, but yea wollies mix vegetables with all the meals

I made a big batch of bolognaise sauce this weekend
so there is 1 big lasagne and 1 small lasagne in the freezer; 1 pasta al forno
plain mince frozen for cottage pie

and a batch of veg soup

will do fish one night too (thank you Woolies Salmon) with steamed veg

and when I'm really not in the mood - instant noodles with peas and a cheese griller, and extra cheese on top!
 
Had one of my best tasting beef pies last night.

Tenderirised steak fried with red onion in pan, add braai salt.
Once rare - In blender until mince meat.
Packet Knorr Potato Bake Garlic and Herb mixed with milk.
button mushrooms fried in butter whole then poured in with the above mixture including any butter left in the pan.

Add all to oven dish.

Dough for the top - flour, salt, warm water and plenty salted butter.

Bake at 190.
