I'm doing a dissertation on brett kebble and i'm hoping you guys can help me with the following(All the smart guys please help):

What effect did the Kebble saga have on South Africa?

What did we learn from Kebble?(Accounting and auditing wise)

Conclusion about the current state of affairs?
 
erm, how about wikipedia?

id look it up for you myself but international is unbearbaly slow
 
The Kebble saga opened up corruption in S.A. at the highest level. Look at the relationship between Selebi and Agliotte. I don't think we learned much from Kebble (Accoutning wise) at all. Business has been "cooking" the books for as long as they have been doing book keeping and it won't stop. Look at what Enron did in the U.S.
 
LoL no don't want you to write dissertation, just wanted some pointers.

I am writing about Kebble becoming South Africa's Enron, , finished 80% with of the thesis, only piece left is to compare Kebble's violations with Enron's violations of accounting and especially governance..

Just wandering if some of you guys didn't know a bit about this of the top of your heads.. :)
