Bhartibroadband (probably ISDN?)
- setup: $25
- 128/64, no cap, US$30 per month


Tataindicom (DSL or ISDN?)
- setup: $50
- 512/512, 500 MB cap, $15 per month
- 128/64, no cap, $120 per month

BSNL (probably ISDN)
- setup: $60
- 128/128, no cap, $110 per month




Hungary DSL
- 512/128, no cap - 32 euros per month
- 1024/256, no cap - 40 euros per month
- 1500/384, no cap - 50 euros per month

Hungary cable
-768/256, 15gb cap, 44 euros per month
-1024/512, 20gb cap, 70 euros per month



Puerto Rico DSL
- 256/128 - $40 per month
- 2512/128 - $60 per month
- 2512/256 - $65 per month
- 2768/384 - $75 per month
- 21024/512 - $85 per month

Puerto Rico cable
- 3000/256 - $55, unless you cake all the cable TV channels, then it is $35




Egypt DSL
256/64, no cap - $24 per month

I agree with CreepyCrawley. I don't believe that come 1 February, things are just going to miraculously become better overnight. It will take the better part of next year to see <i>any</i> kind of meaningful inroads being made into the existing monopoly.
 
Yip I agree with OnionPeel - Telkom are almost certainly going to be ready for the telecoms liberlisation on the 1st of February....Telkom are clever when it comes to <b>business</b> not so in <b>consumer satisfaction</b> it seems[}:)]

I would not put it past telkom have been listening into the minister's phone calls etc (and cell networks as well for that matter), a bit of corporate espionage to run the competition over with.
