Does anyone think that Telkom will take action against those of their clients who try to hack others' computers? rrba-33-57.telkomadsl.co.za/165.165.33.57 scanned 17 different ports of mine at Nov 20 15:21:02. With IP changes someone else might have that IP by now, but surely Telkom has a record as to who this person was at that time. Is it worth reporting? and who do we report this to?

This same IP caused Portsentry to issue the following warning to me:
Nov 20 15:44:38 ********* sendmail[23191]: hAKDLTAh023191: rrba-33-57.telkomadsl.co.za [165.165.33.57] did not issue MAIL/EXPN/VRFY/ETRN during connection to MTA

Does this mean he got onto my computer and used it for spam?? He was already blocked using iptables by that stage.

Thanks!
