Some more bling for my Dual Core

Noticed that my 12V rail was a bit dodgy coming from my rather cheap and cheerfull Chinese manufactured power supply of perhaps 500 Wattage of rather dubious origin.

So I picked up a Antec TruePower 550W (not the bluelight special HE neo) and what a difference it made to the voltage supply and as a bonus it is so damm quiet compared to the previous blower I had.

I sometimes have to wonder if the PC is actually on.

Oddly there is no fan in the back of it but rather one huge 120mm fan sitting underneath all the circuitry.

I've had bad luck with PSU's lately. Either the stop working or they've got a dry joint and start shocking me when I touch the PC's case when switched on. Needless to say after 3 cheap PSU's over a year I decided to buy something proper. I could only afford a Coolermaster 450 Watt at R550, and is working very nicely thank you. I sounds as if the Antec you got have a very similar layout than mine. Mine is also quiet.

I got myself a Aopen 450w PSU for my E6600, it runs really well, pretty quiet as well. Wont drain your funds either
