Some more wimax questions...

1) If I get Wimax from telkom what options do I have from ISP's? Must I look for a wimax deal like one at axxess or does this wimax act like an adsl line that enables me to chose an adsl package?

2) Can anyone recommend me a better alternative or a good wimax deal?

The way I understand it, getting Wimax from Telkom would be the same as getting an ordinary fixed line from Telkom. There is a limitation to bandwidth though and that is that Telkom only offers a 'line' speed of up to 512kbps on Wimax. This was what I was told when I applied about 3 months ago, and also the reason I didn't go for the service. However, I believe you would still be able to use the ISP of your choosing.

May I ask what you chose as analternative then? Can anyone tell me about neotel and expected wait times to get internet up?
