Some questions about Do Broadband

Hi,

I'm looking at getting the Do Broadband Level 3 Closer option, but there's a couple things I'm unsure about. Hopefully someone here can help me so I don't have to go through the trauma of phoning Telkom

1) Is the R888 for Do 3 Closer the actual price? (ie. no extra line rental costs to be added on?)

2) Could one start on Do 3 and upgrade to Do 3 Closer at a later stage if desired?

3) If I used up my cap for the month, could I use Web Africa's prepaid option to get further bandwidth as needed?

I don't have a definate answer for (2) but I would assume yes since you can take either of the two packages on a month-to-month option.
As for (1), you need to add the R100 line rental.
(3) - yes, you can use any other ISP if you wish in conjunction with TelkomIntenet

Yea that's why I'm wondering.. you can never be sure with the way that Telkom words things. The Do 3 package doesn't include line rental but yea they DO make it sound like the R888 for Do 3 Closer is everything..

it does include line rental:

do broadband level 3 CLOSER offers you all the benefits of do broadband level 3 as well as unlimited FREE Callmore calls for up to an hour per call, 1 000 inclusive minutes for your standard time calls, calls to cellular numbers will be billed per second with no minimum charge i.e. speak for 5 seconds pay for 5 seconds. Over and above these massive savings, your home line rental and Call Answer are also included.

The above is R888 pm while the do level 3 is priced at R675 and obviously excludes line rental and the free minutes.
