Hi All

As promise to MyBB member TTYGT, the Intel i7 2600K stk#BX80623172600K will be in on Monday morning and ready for despatching on Monday afternoon

With the slightly favourable Rand vs Dollar we managed to reduce the price even further on these processors, we also just in got our new shipments of Samsung memory and Seagate Hard disk drives as well as a new shipment of FreeCom External drives and docking Kits

This week we doing some really crazy prices on these units so take advantage of these before they all gone.

FML, built a PC for a friend with a 2500k that I got just this week. Wish we had gotten this...

I wouldn't, not for a CPU. They are statistically the least likely item to fail, failure rates are lower than 1% (0.3% or something like that IIRC) as last reported by both American and European wholesalers. I have personally never had one fail on me (which is something because I have had plenty of failures on everything else). With all the safegaurds built into CPUs these days most of those RMAs are probably due to negligence (overvolt, incorrect installation, etc.), damage (eg. lightning, water, etc.) or cascading component failure (bad motherboard which fries the CPU). The level of testing that goes into a single CPU makes it virtually a given you'll get a working CPU.

we sell at least 15k on processors a month and if we get a 1% failure rate that is too much , yes we did get returns on socket 478 processors with bent pins, all Intel did was change over to LGA socket and all the troubles went away like magic, we are still one of the only distributors that honour the full three year warranty and do the swop where others ask you send it via the Intel AWR (Advance Warranty Replacement ) program yourself.

more info on Intel AWR

Thanks for heads up.

How good is the FREECOM brand with regards to the external harddrives?

Also is this Seagate drive the one that has a slower RPM?

Do I need an account? If so, how do I get one? Any help? Thanks!
