I have the following spec for a project

This is like a job card system with like a crm incorporated or a basic quote functionality and a send mail

1. WE GET AN EMAIL TELEPHONICALLY OR A CUSTOMER FILLS IN A ORDER/QUERY ONLINE

2.VENDOR EMAILS QUOTE

3. WE CREATE A QUOTE ( ESTIMATE ORDER ) FOR CUSTOMER

4.CUSTOMER APPROVES

5.WE CREATE A LETTER OF INTENT ( PURCHASE ORDER )FOR VENDOR



WE ARRANGE TRUCK TO LOAD



6. ONCE THE TRUCK LOADS, TRACKING ON LOCATION OF TRUCK GETS EMAILED THREE TIMES A DAY 8H00, 12H30 QND 15H30

7. TRUCK DELIVERES CARGO WITH NO PROBLEMS, IF DAMAGES 8-D REPORT IS GENERATED AND SUBMITED FOR INSURANCE PURPOSES

6.WE GET PROOF OF DELIVERY FROM VENDOR AND THERE INV.

7.WE INVOICE CUSTOMER

8.GET PAID

9.WE PAY VENDOR


Important though this should be php I am either looking for a free script or something to buy quite urgent though so wont be able to code it

Your opinions would be appreciated ty

6-7 items are delivered yet you receive proof of delivery from the vendor(their not there) ? Makes no sense whatsoever... Do you have any experience using UML? Sound like you need to have a look sequence diagrams first before coding further.

Yeah you right that was the exact spec I received from the client though

I change my flow chart a bit

Basically what happens is as follow

1. Client Logs a ticket/request
2. Quote Needs to be system generated basic functionality with some calculation and then auto emailed or whatever
3. Truck must be tracked

Now at number 3 is the difficult part as to advise the client that the truck is on the move etc

Basically taking the spec and making it sound better
