So I've been wanting to try an Android device and actually ordered a Desire HD.
I'm currently using a 9800 Torch on MTN.
So this weekend it was with some trepidation that I realised my Garmin GPS was with my sis and my fiance and I had to go to PTA. This meant I was completely reliant on the Garmap Satnav on my Torch.
What a pleasure! POI's were brilliant, satellite lock was instant and it was quite light on battery. I bought a Capdase windscreen suction thinghy and a car charger and I was set.
I have since realised that I would miss a BB in my life too much as just about everyone I know has one.
I've since cancelled the Desire and ordered a 9700 Bold in White for my fiance. Early Valentines prezzie. I'm romantic like that.

Anyhow, just wanted to say that I'm very chuffed with my Torch. It does everything it needs to do with stability and reliability that comes from something that has been tried, tested and proven. Yes, it might not have the latest sofware or hardware but for my needs its brilliant.
