I've got 10 inches, is that enough? lmao - kidding :p

Anyways guys, I've got myself a nice 5GB webafrica siax account but I'm starting to wonder if that's enough?? I seem to find myself playing CoD2 and BF2 online every second day for about 3-4 hours and it does seem to take up quite a bit of data. Do you think I'll be able to get away with a 5GB account if I carry on like this?

What do you guys use for gaming and how often (and how long) do you play?

thanks guys! (and ladies obviously hehe)

I'd like to know myself, as I'm planning on getting a Axxess 4GB account.

Maybe we can make a summary of the hourly usage of these games?

BF2 uses around 15KB/s.. so with a 5GB account you can play for +-92 hours.. or 3 hours per day every day for the month.

That's not too bad, but 5GB at Axxess for example is a bit out of my reach. I'd like to stay under R600. 4GB puts me just over R600. :(

WebAfrica seems pretty good. Carrying over your unused gigs.

BTW. Why is Telkom softcapped and the other ISP's not?

Because they own SAIX, their Internet arm, and are thus able to do basically what they want because everyone is too scared to do anything about it.

I chow 8 GB a month online gaming + mail, and all I really play is BF2.
Well ... all we really play is BF2 + GuildWars [GW had a whole sheetload of updates and BF2 also recently]
But ... you want to use your line for other stuff as well that 5GB is going to need a bit of a vacuum pump.

That is actually so sad. You get limited to the number of hours per day that you can play an online game.
