It looks like the year is going to end on a high note for SA "Interwebz"

But some things to think about with all the new offerings.

I am pretty sure that we are going to get an ADSL line upgrade
What will happen with your "uncapped" accounts at 384 ????

What is going to happen with Local vs International  especially next year with all the new International FIBRE cables.

I am holding ALL bets until I see what WebAfrica come up with.

True uncapped Local AND International at 1Mb with their own full on LOCAL NEWS Server.

See their latest reductions on Web Hosting as a sign for the future.;)

I think that Garyvdh needs a BIG APOLOGY from ALL the "imminent" detractors.

and

all the upstart ISP's need a BIG thank you.

Yeah, this whole 384/256 uncapped is not gonna look so good when 384 is bumped to 1meg. I suggest these new ISPs follow Axxess's lead and give line speed after hours. Even if it means increasing prices (not too much though:p)

EDIT: Almost forgot. Thanks DigiChilli and especially Afrihost. WA, I'm saving a huge thank you for you guys later... don't disappoint!

Is it really going to 1Meg? I thought it would be 512...

Props to Afrihost for being the best thing to happen this year. :)

haha... I don't need any apology. The fulfillment of my optimistic dreams is reward enough! Keep it coming... and 2010 is gonna be a fantastic year! :D

Well done to all the innovative and courageous ISPs and ground breakers! You have our loyalty for many years to come!

I recon (and hope) all the new International FIBRE cables make things better and faster. Wouldnt aht be nice, bring on 2010 :D

as long as you sign a month-to-month you should have no fear what the feature brings

Besides, I seem to remember a certain level of gloating ;) :D

I think even Screamer needs to be commended at this point - they tried something nobody else did. It hasn't run smoothly and there have been a lot of complaints but at least they put the effort in.

Ja, I pretty much already did all my gloating! Felt good to be right! :p

Was a pity about social flu internet... but we have enough new players now to know that things are definitely on a downward trent.

Instead of gloating go to Hospice and get a Dictionary :p :D

I am sure you mean UPWARD TREND

Why go backwards?
