Some Uncapped Help?

im looking at some uncapped offerings..
will the MWEB 4mb/s uncapped shaped allow me to play games without deadly ping in games like cod4 and bc2 after hours?
and will i get a faster speeds if i do the all inclusive? or can i just leave my current line intact and get the same speeds?

I want to do some heavy downloading for the first month probably becuase i have always had a 1GB cap which has really limited me and i usually end up buying like 7GB in a month...

Im just worried about the fact that some people report speeds of like 5kb/s and some sau 460kb/s and it confuses me...

but i guess if its bad i can just cancel it? no contracts right?

Im also worried about the Axxess unshaped uncapped accounts becuase i hear that the shaping isnt just shaping, its like killing ur connection??
and i guess everyone is trying not to be in the top 50% which also sucks....

I basically want one that will let me have "playable" online games after hours, and get nice download speeds but even that seems to much to ask for at the moment.

I also like the fact that i can get the DSTV on Demand Service if i go with Mweb...hmmmm :|

I would love for you to include a reason why you think i should go for the specific package you reccomended.

In a nutshell. You will get bad
pings some of the time. The
faster line helps. You may also
get a very spikey ping because
shaping is dynamic.

7Gig is nothing. Only get it if you
really need to download a lot and
are prepared to wait and wait and
wait and wait and wait and wait
and wait ........

Torrents tend to be sloooow.
Browsing is fine.

I'm on Mweb uncapped 384kbps and I'm probably browsing, downloading & playing games which amounts to 10-20GB. I probably would've been better off by going to Cybersmart and using their NightRider package, since its unshaped.

So far my latencies on Mweb uncapped (shaped) was pretty decent for gaming, but I haven't tried playing on overseas servers or playing during office hours.

If you're not a big downloader and you want a fast connection, then the WebAfrica Titan specials are really amazing.

cuz some people get full speed, some get crappy 5kb/s...
