Someone able to pull Telkom's leg ?

Hey I really need some ones help please. Any1 willing to get telkom to get there lazzzzzy @ss to the : Centurion - Pierre van Ryneveld Exchange and fix the thing. (I am dead sure it isn't only me (Tested with 4 friends)). I get packet loss to the max! (1/3 packets gets lost) and can't play wow/warcraft3 or any low packet sending program. (Css works because it sends 2 backup packets for every one it sends). Please any1 Thanks. :confused:
 
+ this is my first proper holiday and i can't enjoy my R700 priced dsl at all. lol Kinda sucks :D
 
I have both Is and saix accounts
SAIX accounts = telkom and webafrica
IS= Gamco
 
Try telkom isp i have no problems on a 3 gig acc can olay wow local & int even edonkey full speed
 
Yes but this area (Pierre van Ryneveld) has extreme packet loss. It takes about 30 seconds to load any page (even local) because 1 out of 3 of my packets gets lost (All accounts)
 
read the treads about IS they are f!cking up badly
 
Just tested Telkom Saix account . My second packet got lost...
 
No it isnt IS or SAIX. I mean when i connect in to the net with telkom dsl account it freezes because a packet gets lost on its way and i recieve no conformation of my log in.. Not to do with IS and SAIX
 
your saix acc who is the isp telkom internet?
 
ok what router/modem are you using
 
D-link dsl-2640u but it isn't me only. All my mates live in Pierre van Ryneveld (having same prob)
 
then phone telkom and tell them you have noise on your land line they will check then reset your line or come out at no charge takes 2-3 +- days
 
OK will do! Hope they do something about it... WAIT Evil scheme.... going 2 call them from all my friends home and tell them there is a prob.. They might respond then lol :D
